What we recommend

The SusSET project has contributed to and created possibilities for developing new relations. It has showed us that it is possible to exchange experiences across cultural and language barriers. This has led to a focus upon tourism and a belief in its future. What small towns need to work with more concrete in the future is:

  • Develop websites-different languages
  • Develop brochures in different languages
  • Exchanges between the countries. For example schools, companies, different community groups etc.
  • Be aware of new projects that prospective partners might develop and examine joint working possibilities.
  • Get examples from other towns.
  • Work together with nearby cities (e.g. linked, websites, shared material, larger products and packages)
  • Seek knowledge and cooperation from other sectors in the society, not only through the tourism sector.
