Definition of theme |
Shelter is considered to be a basic human need, essential to life. It is not surprising then that owning a home is a key lifestyle goal for the majority of the world’s population. Types of housing and home ownership or tenancy vary substantially across the globe. Perhaps this is why housing is such a diverse theme. A house can be something as simple as a state-provided high-rise flat, or as big as exclusive, sprawling residential estates. The type of housing located in an area adds to its overall sense of place.
