What is the toolkit trying to do? |
The toolkit is attempting to do several things.
First of all, it is trying to save you time by pulling together a lot of current thinking, documentation and other published works in a single place, as well as offering a selection of good practice case studies.
Secondly, it is trying to present a model of how to approach small town strategy – see ‘sustainable small town strategy’.
Thirdly, it is trying to identify several key messages about safeguarding the future of small towns – see ‘key messages’.
Finally, it is trying to raise the overall profile of small towns in EU regions.
